Reporting to the HSE North Region Business Partner Lead, this role's mission is to contribute to and be part of the Group HSE department, with specific focus on the day-to-day operations of HSE in the country where he/she is based and with links into wider European and Global geographies.
You will drive the implementation of the local HSE Plan of Activities (risk assessments, inspections, medical check-ups, HSE training programme, emergency preparedness) through good engagement with the external HSE providers (where available), ensuring they comply with their legal obligations and providing on-site customer support to the country staff.
Additionally, you will manage the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001 certified management system, ensuring these certifications/alignments are retained in the country under scope.
Lastly, in this role, you will also support the HSE North Region Business Partner on the day-to-day management of the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) requirements to ensure this certification is retained.
