Why we need this role
Reporting to the HSE North Region Business Partner Lead, this role's mission is to contribute to and be part of the Group HSE department, with specific focus on the day-to-day operations of HSE in the country where he/she is based and with links into wider European and Global geographies.
You will drive the implementation of the local HSE Plan of Activities (risk assessments, inspections, medical check-ups, HSE training programme, emergency preparedness) through good engagement with the external HSE providers (where available), ensuring they comply with their legal obligations and providing on-site customer support to the country staff.
Additionally, you will manage the ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001 certified management system, ensuring these certifications/alignment are retained in the country under scope.
Lastly, in this role, you will also support the HSE North Region Business Partner on the day-to-day management of the Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) requirements.
