Mission & Responsibilities: The role of the business continuity analyst is to support the Global Business Continuity & Crisis Manager in maintaining and overseeing all areas of business continuity and crisis management function for DCS. You will directly support the process for attaining and maintaining ISO 22301 certification and other relevant certifications. Your role will be crucial in supporting DCS business continuity and crisis management policies, processes, and documentation to ensure that DCS is fully prepared to effectively respond to, manage, and recover from potential and actual disruptions and crises. This is a hybrid role which requires work from our London office on at least one day per week as well as at other sites periodically to support our business continuity and crisis management activities.
Relationships & Key Contacts: Internally – Peers across all central functions, data centre teams and management, Security & Resilience team members, business functions HR and technology, DCS operations, regional management. Externally – 3rd parties, contractors, suppliers, and customers. Development of business continuity and crisis management awareness and development with other DCS employees and 3rd Party providers.
The skills and experience you would bring:
- Experience of business continuity and crisis management in an international and/or complex environment, across a wide range of disciplines.
- Good knowledge and experience of international standards ISO22301, ISO22361, and ISO27001.
- An in-depth understanding of business continuity and crisis management systems.
- Experience in supporting the delivery strategies for business continuity and crisis management.
- Technical knowledge relevant to business operations at data centres in an international environment.
- Experience in developing and providing training and test & exercise programs.
- Experience and ability to manage the scope and scale of incidents and provide crisis management support.
- Experience and understanding of audit and inspection processes.
- Ability to provide high quality and accurate reports and audit and compliance documentation.
- Experience of successfully delivering operational resilience business continuity and crisis support to the business.
- Experience of supporting local and remotely based collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in communications and proactive interactions with customers.
- Methodical and highly organised.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills.
- Good Microsoft Word skills.
- Good communication skills are required (written and verbal).
- English speaking – Native or fluent.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Academic qualifications in resilience business continuity and crisis management disciplines.
- Professional or workplace resilience, business continuity, and crisis management experience.
- Demonstrable ISO22301 audit/implementation qualifications and/or experience.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Security Management, IT, or a related field.
