What You'll Be Doing:

  • Setting and operating CNC machines producing precision-engineered components
  • Carrying out machine set-ups including tooling changes and offsets
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • Inspecting your own work using measuring equipment and gauges
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Working closely with the engineering team to support continuous improvement
  • Contributing to a clean, organised and safe workshop environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with Fanuc or similar controls would be beneficial, but not essential

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Early finish every Friday
  • Long-term job security
  • Modern machines and excellent working environment
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Clear progression opportunities
  • Company pension scheme
  • 22 days holiday allowance + bank holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Supportive and experienced team environment

We invest in our people, machinery and processes to ensure we continue delivering the highest standards to our customers. We believe in creating a positive working environment where skilled engineers can enjoy their work, develop their careers and be part of a growing business with long-term ambitions.

Interested? If you think this could be the right opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you. We welcome applications from machinists with a range of experience levels.
