Colt DCS is seeking an experienced and strategic M&A Integration & Strategic Operations Director to lead post-deal close activities. This role will be responsible for overseeing M&A integrations, joint venture onboarding, and corporate separations to ensure smooth transitions and maximize value realization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in M&A integration, business transformation, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integration strategies for acquisitions, ensuring alignment across business, operational, and cultural dimensions.
- Lead the onboarding process for joint ventures, ensuring operational setup, governance implementation, and seamless collaboration with partners.
- Manage business separations and divestitures, creating transition plans that minimize disruption and optimize efficiency.
- Establish and refine playbooks for integration, separation, and JV onboarding, incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations to align processes, systems, and reporting structures post-deal.
- Drive the development of performance metrics and governance frameworks to measure and ensure success post-close.
- Serve as the central point of contact for post-deal execution, bridging Corporate Development, business units, and functional teams.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, proactively developing mitigation strategies.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing regular updates on integration progress, challenges, and successes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in M&A integration, business transformation, or corporate strategy.
- Proven track record in post-merger integration (PMI), JV onboarding, and/or business carve-outs.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of financial, operational, and cultural aspects of M&A transactions.
- Experience working in the data centre, technology, or infrastructure industries is preferred.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
