The Systems Manager - Data Integrations and BI will lead our data and reporting capability, ensuring our business has the right data in the right place at the right time. You’ll oversee a small internal team, manage external delivery partners, and continuously improve how we integrate, warehouse, and support business intelligence on our data using the Microsoft ecosystem, that aligns with the organisation’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Data Integrations, Data Warehouse, and Business Intelligence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage third-party providers who perform much of the hands‑on build and support work, ensuring quality and alignment to standards.
- Partner with business stakeholders across functions to understand data needs and deliver reliable, actionable information – helping the organisation gain value from the data within our business systems.
- Oversee BAU operations (data pipelines, refreshes, access) while driving incremental enhancements to data models, integrations, and processes.
- Own and evolve our Microsoft-based data environment, including:
- Integrations: iPaaS solutions and Azure Logic Apps
- Data warehouse: Azure SQL
- Business intelligence: Power BI and related reporting tools
- 10+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful data strategies in a global or large‑scale environment.
- Proven experience leading data integration, ETL, or BI teams in a Microsoft-focused environment.
- Excellent understanding of Azure data services (Logic Apps, Data Factory, SQL Database, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong track record managing vendor relationships and delivery through mixed internal/external resources.
- Ability to translate complex data challenges into clear business outcomes and priorities.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a strong business acumen.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within the construction industry can be advantageous.
- Strong project management skills and experience managing cross‑functional teams.
- Vendor Management, particularly Managed Service Providers.
- Experience balancing BAU operations with project and change delivery.
