Role Overview

The Corporate Development Manager will play a key role in supporting Colt DCS’s end‑to‑end M&A, investment evaluation, and strategic corporate development activities. This position requires strong analytical capability, hands‑on deal execution experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. The role will contribute to valuation work, transaction execution, strategic assessments, and integration planning to support the company’s long‑term growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build detailed financial valuation models from scratch, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis.
  • Conduct combination modelling, scenario analysis, and transaction structuring assessments to support investment decisions.
  • Support day‑to‑day execution of M&A transactions, partnering closely with internal teams, external advisors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Participate in due diligence processes, prepare analyses, and contribute to identifying key issues and strategic implications.
  • Assist in coordinating deliverables across workstreams and ensuring timely progression of transaction milestones.
  • Prepare high‑quality presentation materials, including investment papers, management presentations, ELT/Board updates, and other materials for internal decision‑making.
  • Translate complex financial and operational findings into clear, concise insights for senior leadership.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, HR, Tech, Tax, Operations) to support end‑to‑end M&A activities, including integration planning and Day 1 readiness.
  • Support the creation of integration plans, synergy tracking models, and implementation updates aligned to diligence findings and deal model assumptions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of Transitional Services Agreements (TSA) and operational handover plans.
  • Assist in issue tracking and resolution during diligence and integration phases by consolidating stakeholder inputs and preparing decision‑ready materials.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills

  • Exceptional financial modelling and valuation capability with strong grounding in corporate finance principles.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate development, Big 4 Corporate Finance, or an equivalent environment supporting M&A or corporate finance projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with investors, consultants, and Colt DCS senior leaders both in‑person and virtually.
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects across different time zones.
  • Highly collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to support and guide junior colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
