An exciting opportunity to work with a leading high precision component manufacturing firm.

This is a hands-on role involving the setting, programming and operating of sliding head CNC lathes to manufacture small to medium components. You will be working to tight aerospace tolerances and with a range of high specification materials including stainless steel, aluminium, brass and titanium.

The ideal CNC setter will have:

  • Proven experience of setting and operating CNC lathes.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Experience in performing first-off inspections and quality checks.
  • Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship; however, experience is an overriding factor.

The role is Monday to Friday and overtime/additional hours may be required depending on the workload of the business. Salary dependent on experience.
