We are looking for a confident and driven Acting Room Leader to lead our Toddler Room at Colourbox @ Cherry Trees. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the Toddler Room
  • Creating a calm, well-prepared environment where children can thrive
  • Embedding strong routines and smooth transitions throughout the day
  • Delivering high-quality interactions that support independence and communication
  • Leading and supporting your team to maintain consistent, high standards
  • Building positive, professional relationships with parents
  • Working closely with your Nursery Manager and senior leadership team

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
  • Experience as a Senior Practitioner or Room Leader, but we will also consider applicants who are new to leadership
  • Confidence in leading a team and holding expectations
  • Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • An interest in (or experience with) Montessori practice
  • A proactive, reliable approach with a focus on quality and consistency
