Overview
Colourbox Montessori School are currently recruiting for two outstanding and qualified Nursery Practitioner\’s to join our nursery. This role is a full-time position with the opportunity for continuous professional development and additional training and promotion, where your main duties will be nurturing and caring for the development of children from 3 months to 5 years old. If you love working with children, or see yourself in a role that allows you to be creative and share your skills with others, this could be the place for you.
We are recruiting for the following roles:
- Qualified practitioner Level 2 or Level 3 across all age groups (3+ months to 5 years old)
- Forest School Leader with a full and relevant childcare qualification
- Deputy Room Leader in the 2-3 year old age range with a relevant childcare qualification
We have an enchanced rate of pay for those with Qualified Teacher Status, Early Years Teacher Status or those with a Montessori qualification- please apply for details!
Duties:
- Having a key group of children, observing, and recording their development.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
- Building positive and successful relationships with colleagues, children, and parents.
- Childcare discount (terms and conditions apply)
- Uniform provided.
- Option to work a 4-day week, compressed hours.
- Social events provided by the nursery.
- In-house Montessori and CPD training.
- Company pension.
Requirements of the role:
- Living and working in the UK with full rights to do so.
- A Full and Relevant Level 3+ Childcare qualification.
- An enhanced DBS check (we will apply for this).
- Knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS.
- First aid, Basic food hygiene and safeguard training desirable, but training is provided.
- Previous experience in early years desirable, but not essential.
