At Colourbox Montessori School, we know that the very beginning matters most. Our Toddler Room is a place of calm, connection, and curiosity, where every interaction shapes a child’s sense of trust, security, and belonging. We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Room Leader to support the leadership of our toddler room. Someone who is not only nurturing and attentive, but confident, organised, and ready to lead by example.

The Role

  • Support the team in the day-to-day running of the room
  • Take shared responsibility for planning, routines, and environment set-up
  • Lead by example in delivering responsive, attentive care to young children
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with families, offering reassurance and communication
  • Guide and support team members to maintain consistent, high-quality practice
  • Step confidently into leadership with support throughout your own developmental path

This is a hands-on leadership role where your presence, tone, and attention to detail truly matter.

Who We’re Looking For

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years
  • Experience working with children 2-3 years old
  • A strong understanding of attachment, routines, and emergent communication and language needs
  • Confidence in supporting others and stepping into a leadership role
  • A good knowledge of Safeguarding and EYFS
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS
