Role Overview
You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking team to develop robust, scalable frontend solutions using React and React Native. You’ll play a key role in building user-centric interfaces, integrating micro frontends (Micro UI), and ensuring high-quality releases through Playwright testing. This is a hybrid role, requiring just 1 / 2 day a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using React and React Native
- Implement and manage micro frontend architecture (Micro UI)
- Write comprehensive UI tests using Playwright
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product owners
- Integrate authentication and user management via AWS Cognito
- Work within an AWS-hosted environment to deploy and support frontend solutions
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong experience with React (2+ years)
- Experience with React Native
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Testing experience using Playwright or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Micro UI architecture
- Experience working with AWS, particularly Cognito for user authentication
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
Desirable:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker)
- Knowledge of GraphQL or REST APIs
