Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Large Format Print Finisher to join our production team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing, preparing, and quality-checking a wide range of large format printed materials, ensuring every job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high professional standard.
You will work closely with the print and production teams to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Finish large format printed materials including banners, fabrics, posters, signage, exhibition graphics, vinyl, wallpaper, window graphics, and display materials.
- Operate finishing equipment such as cutting equipment (Zund), guillotines, laminators, cutting tables, and vinyl application tools.
- Trim, cut, crease, stretch fabrics, fold, mount, laminate, eyelet, and assemble printed products as required.
- Apply vinyl graphics and printed media to a variety of substrates and surfaces.
- Carry out accurate measurements and ensure all finishing work meets job specifications.
- Inspect finished products for colour, print quality, trimming, alignment, defects, and overall presentation.
- Identify and report production or quality issues promptly.
- Package finished work safely and securely for collection, delivery, or installation.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production environment.
- Complete work within agreed deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Follow company health and safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Assist with general production duties when required.
- Work as part of a team while also being capable of managing individual jobs independently.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a large format print finishing or print production environment.
- Good understanding of large format print production and finishing processes.
- Experience using finishing equipment and hand tools.
