We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our Finance and Business Support team based in Nottingham.
About the role
This is a full-time role reporting to the UK Finance Controller. You will manage the processing of a high volume of invoices through AP software, supplier statement reconciliation, month end reporting, staff expenses and various support tasks for the Finance and Business Support Team. The role is based in Nottingham, but we do offer a 60/40 hybrid working model with 3 days office based so time can also be spent working from home/remotely.
Your Responsibilities
- Processing a high volume of invoices through AP software
- Bank payments, including monthly supplier payment runs
- Month end reporting requirements such as Prepayments, Accruals and Fixed Assets
- Manage staff expenses system and processing of payments
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Any ad hoc duties to support the Finance and Business Support Team
About you
To succeed as a Finance Assistant, you must be self-motivated and a true team player who can work proactively with your team and others across the company. A passion for learning and previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Finance Assistant role are also essential.
