Due to ongoing growth across Scotland and the wider UK, John Clark Motor Group is looking for professional Vehicle Delivery Drivers with towing experience to join our transport operations in Inverness
In this role, you are much more than just a driver—you represent our premier automotive brands directly to our customers. Whether delivering a brand-new vehicle to a private buyer’s home or moving stock between our dealer network, you ensure every vehicle arrives on time, in pristine condition, and with a friendly, professional handover.
What You’ll Do
- Safely transport, deliver, and collect a wide range of vehicles across Scotland and nationwide UK routes.
- Securely load, strap, and tow car trailers in full compliance with road transport safety legislation.
- Conduct professional customer handovers, verifying documentation and walking customers through basic vehicle controls.
- Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle condition checks and ensure paperwork/digital app logs are recorded accurately.
- Coordinate with our central transport and dealership teams to ensure smooth logistics and timely schedules.
What We Need From You
- A valid UK driving licence with Category B+E entitlement (you automatically hold this if you passed your car test before 1 January 1997, or if you have passed a dedicated B+E car and trailer test).
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no active IN10, DR10, or TT99 endorsements).
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience towing trailers or vehicle transporters.
- Smart appearance, polite communication, and a pride in delivering high-standard service.
- Comfortable with early starts, long-distance driving across the UK, and occasional overnight stays where required (expenses fully covered).
