Colonial Chevrolet of Acton is seeking a skilled and experienced Lube Technician to join our team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and oil changes on vehicles, as well as assisting with other automotive services. This is a part-time position with competitive hourly compensation in the Auto industry.
The compensation for this position is $18 to $25 per hour and is paid weekly.
Responsibilities:- Perform basic automotive services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect and diagnose customer vehicles, identifying any potential issues or recommended repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, as well as properly maintaining tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to provide updates on services and any recommended repairs.
- Ensure all services are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Continuously update knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance techniques through training programs and workshops.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop and on the lot.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background and drug screening.
- Must have the physical and dexterity ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and perform repetitive tasks.
