We are looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join our community and help us continue our mission of providing the best possible outcomes for our students. Therefore, we are seeking to recruit a proactive and reliable member of staff to enrich the skills and experience already present in our Science Faculty.

This role is 18 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time, plus one inset day). The working pattern is Monday 08:15am to 13:15pm and Thursday to Friday (08:15am to 15:15pm).

A Day in the Life:

  • To ensure the efficient preparation and organisation of equipment for lessons as required.
  • To clean equipment and laboratories after each lesson and any chemical spillage then they occur.
  • To ensure safe storage and use of laboratory equipment.
  • To repair, fix & maintain laboratory equipment that is used in lessons (training can be provided).
