Colnbrook is a school for children aged 4 - 11, who have a wide range of learning needs and we are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic midday supervisor to help look after our children at lunchtime.
Pay Spine: HA - Actual Salary approx £4828 per annum
Hours: 11:40 - 13:25 - Term Time (5 days per week)
Contract: Permanent
Duties include:
- The care and supervision of children during the lunchtime period, with responsibility for their health & safety, welfare and good conduct.
- Supervise the children when they are in the dining room eating lunch, outdoors in the playground and in the classroom.
- Helping to set up, clean and tidy the dining halls.

In line with our safer recruitment Policy, Colnbrook School will:
- Request 2 references prior to interview (unless applicants specify otherwise). These must include your last 2 posts and/or last 2 positions working with children.
- Carry out a new DBS check prior to the start date (if necessary).
- Request the successful applicant to register with the DBS Update Service each year. Registration lasts for 1 year and costs £16.00 per year.
- Require you to complete both a Criminal Record Self-declaration form and a Disqualification Declaration form prior to or at your interview.
- Require you to disclose any previous criminal convictions or cautions with your application in a sealed envelope marked 'disclosure'. This will not be opened unless your application is shortlisted.
- For candidates that are short-listed for an interview, an online search will be carried out to identify any incidents or issues that have happened, and are publicly available online, which we might want to explore with the candidate at interview.
