Are you a passionate Music Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of performers, composers and musicians? We are currently recruiting for a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Shrewsbury. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop both practical and theoretical knowledge while fostering a love for the subject.

The Role
  • Teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire student participation and achievement.
  • Support students in developing performance, composition and listening skills.

  • Assess, monitor and report on student progress.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply.
