Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties? We’re working in partnership with a well-respected specialist school in the Staffordshire area who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their supportive and inclusive team. This full-time role involves teaching across both primary and secondary age groups, supporting pupils with a wide range of needs including MLD, SLD, and associated communication or behavioural challenges. 🧠 About the Role: * Full-time teaching role within a specialist school environment * Delivering creative, tailored lessons for pupils with MLD and SLD * Teaching across a mixed range of key stages (Primary & Secondary) * Working closely with experienced SEN support staff, therapists, and senior leaders * Using strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory-based approaches (experience desirable) 💼 Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent * Proven experience working with pupils with MLD, SLD, or similar SEN profiles * Strong understanding of differentiated learning and EHCPs * Calm, resilient, and nurturing teaching style * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one) 🎯 Desirable (not essential): * Experience with ASC, PMLD, or complex needs * Team Teach or equivalent behaviour management training * Familiarity with communication aids and alternative teaching methods 🌈 What’s in it for you? * A rewarding opportunity to make real impact * Supportive leadership and multidisciplinary team * Ongoing SEN-specific training opportunities * Competitive daily rate, paid weekly * Dedicated consultant to support your journey
