We are currently recruiting for a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in schools across the Stechford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students with ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEND (preferred)
- A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) desirable
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
