About the School

This SEN school in Kings Heath is a specialist provision dedicated to supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional needs. The school caters for pupils aged 4–19 and provides a highly structured, nurturing environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

With small class sizes and a high staff-to-pupil ratio, the school ensures that each learner receives personalised attention and tailored support. Many pupils have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and present with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), Speech and Language needs, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

The school places a strong emphasis on:

  • Individualised learning programmes designed around each pupil’s strengths and targets

  • Positive behaviour support strategies
  • A calm, consistent, and structured daily routine
  • Building confidence and self-esteem in every learner

Facilities include well-equipped classrooms, sensory spaces, quiet regulation areas, and outdoor learning environments designed to support engagement and wellbeing. The leadership team is supportive and committed to staff development, ensuring that all members of the team receive guidance, training, and ongoing professional support.
