Responsibilities

The Governors of this dynamic 11-19 school are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Mathematics KS3 Lead with responsibility for whole school numeracy to join our Mathematics faculty. This post is suitable for an experienced teacher. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of highly committed teachers, on a mission to develop confident, curious and resilient learners. We are looking for a colleague who understands the importance of Mathematics and is passionate about inspiring our students, equipping them with the powerful knowledge and understanding they need to succeed. This role will offer the successful candidate exciting challenges that will be both rewarding and fulfilling. You will be well supported to achieve your own personal career goals and aspirations.

All applicants will be required to provide original birth certificate, two suitable referees, and an online search will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all short-listed candidates. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
