Role Summary
Collis Civil Engineering is the specialist railway civil engineering division of the Signal House Group, delivering on-site support through sub- and superstructure installations, site surveys, and structure refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out civil engineering works on railway projects, including installations, groundwork, structural tasks, and refurbishment works
- Assist with LOC base installations, foundations, handrail installations, and hardstand construction
- Work in accordance with all railway safety standards and site procedures
- Support site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience working in civil engineering within the railway sector
- Essential experience in installations, refurbs, LOC bases, foundations, handrail installation, and hardstands
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification highly desirable
- Strong understanding of railway safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work weekends and travel to various UK sites as required
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a site team
- Full UK Driving Licence
