Purpose of the Job
The Global Process Owner works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation improvements across Collinson activities. The team leads the Operational Excellence strategy agenda and internally reviews to identify priorities, coordinate efforts, track progress and define and implement best practices using lean / six sigma principles and automation. This position will report to the VP of Operational Excellence and will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders within departments across Collinson to drive the Global Operations change and improvement agenda.
This role will play a crucial lead in transforming the Report to Report processes globally, identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practice to streamline operations and reduce cycles times, making use of automation, improving controls and increasing source data accuracy. The role will advise on accounting principles for all Finance processes and manage the Regional Process Owners for Order to Cash.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support implementation of process design, in line with the Global Operational Excellence strategy and in line with Collinson standards and policy.
- Financial processes relating to New product or platform changes.
- Support internal productivity and transformation initiatives; actively seeking process standardisation in all departments and automation.
- Participate in and assist global strategy, acting as project representative for Global Operations in setting business and information architecture standards for the team.
- Participate in a program of projects, including planning, governance, progress tracking and execution.
- Support on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business strategy.
- Identify gaps in current process design and implement necessary changes.
- Assist with internal audit on project reviews and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

- 5+ years’ experience in Financial Operations with Global standardisation and Automation.
- 3+ Year of Leadership with Line management responsibility.
- Good working knowledge of Technology awareness in how systems and technology impact the process.

IDEAL:
- Accounting Qualification/ Experience of working in Finance Operations.
- Lean Six Sigma qualified up to Green Belt.
