We’re on the lookout for a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to join our successful Residential Lettings team. This is an exciting chance to build a rewarding career in a well-established local agency that truly values its people.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being the first point of contact for applicants – handling walk‑ins and phone enquiries with confidence and professionalism
- Booking and conducting property viewings with potential tenants
- Supporting landlords and tenants with queries, ensuring a seamless experience
- Managing and updating client records in line with GDPR
- Ensuring new tenancies progress smoothly and efficiently.
- Working closely with a supportive team who love what they do
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a customer service role – retail, hospitality, office‑based… if you’ve worked with people, we want to hear from you
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle essential
- A detail‑focused, well‑organised, and reliable approach to your work
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, a professional telephone manner being able to negotiate and handle challenging situations tactfully.
- Someone who’s self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
- Familiarity with St Albans and the surrounding area is a bonus
