Today we still invest heavily in innovation to ensure that we continue to deliver superior customer experiences.Our mission is focused on doing good beyond profit, which for us means we seek out opportunities for our people to share in our success and that we give back to the communities and people within which we work.Never short of ambition, the success of our business is delivered through the diverse and talented team of over 2,200 global colleagues.We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Risk Manager to strengthen our enterprise-wide risk management approach and help embed a strong risk culture across the organisation.Working as part of the second line of defence, you will provide oversight, guidance, and constructive challenge to business teams, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, managed, and reported effectively in line with strategic objectives and regulatory expectations.What you'll be doingEnhance and embed the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), including risk policies, standards, and guidance.Lead enterprise risk assessments, workshops, horizon scanning, and emerging risk reviews.Provide independent challenge on business risk assessments, controls, and mitigation plans.Maintain risk registers, monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), and support risk escalation.Produce clear risk reporting, dashboards, and Board/Executive committee papers.Analyse risk trends and provide insight to support strategic decision-making.Partner with teams across the business to strengthen risk awareness and capability.Support incident management, root cause analysis, and risk improvement initiatives.What we're looking forYou’ll be an experienced risk professional with a strong background in enterprise, operational, or strategic risk management.Experience working in a risk management role with increasing responsibility.Knowledge of risk frameworks including ISO 31000, COSO ERM, and the three lines of defence model.Experience conducting risk assessments, evaluating controls, and challenging stakeholders.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.Excellent communication skills, including executive-level reporting and stakeholder engagement.Desirable experienceProfessional qualification such as IRM, CIMA, CFA, PRM, or CIA.Experience in a regulated environment, particularly financial services.Familiarity with risk platforms such as Archer, MetricStream, Riskonnect, Decision Focus, or Fusion.Exposure to AI, ESG, or financial risk initiatives.Join Collinson Insurance and play a key role in improving how risk is understood, managed, and used to support business success.
