What Does a Delivery Manager do:
The Delivery Manager ensures the predictable, high-quality delivery of products and initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, removing delivery risks, and establishing clear governance across the delivery lifecycle. The Delivery Manager provides structure, clarity, and transparency so teams can deliver value efficiently, maintains alignment between Product, Engineering, and Commercial stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement across delivery processes to enhance execution, throughput, and stakeholder confidence. The role requires exceptional organisational, communication and problem-solving skills to oversee the scoping, planning and execution of this cross-functional initiatives. The successful candidate will be output-oriented, rigorous in his/her attention to detail and able to motivate teams to deliver on time, on budget and to quality standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Planning and dependencies – work with workstream leads to build a project plan (both detailed and plan on a page) outlining key activities and milestones whilst also identifying and tracking the key internal / external dependencies that inform sequencing and / or timing of the project.
- Resourcing – work with workstream leads to understand resource requirements ensuring relevant stakeholders are aware of demand for each of their teams.
- Delivery – monitor individual workstream performance against the plan, challenge slippage and help define and implement mitigations.
- Risk and issue management – review the risks and issues experienced by the workstream leads and elevate as needed to the Project Sponsor and / or Steering Committee.
- Governance – facilitate relevant governance forums and the distribution and closure of relevant actions and decisions.
- Stakeholder management – Establish strong working relationships with different stakeholder groups (including Business Area Senior Leadership, Project Managers, Change Leads, BAU owners, external 3rd parties and Collinson International Ltd leadership team and Board).
- Team leadership – oversee the work of the Workstream Leads.
- Reporting – collate reports from Workstream Leads to build a view of programme progress (e.g. status against plan & next steps). Consolidate this to report up to the Programme Manager / Project Sponsor / Transformation Management Office (TMO) as applicable.
- PM community – be an active member of the PM Community, sharing insights and experience to help raise standards across the organization.

- Previous experience of managing projects within Technology organisations.
- Previous experience of working successfully with Change Managers
- Previous experience of delivering both standalone projects and projects that form part of a wider programme
- External certifications in Project Management desirable but not essential (e.g. Prince2 or APM)
- Experience and understanding of Lean Six Sigma is desirable but not essential
- Experience and understanding of SaaS solutions is desirable but not essential.
