We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our friendly and professional team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional legal services to our clients who have been injured due to accidents, medical negligence, and other personal injury matters. Our team is committed to achieving the best outcomes for our clients while providing compassionate support. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, including cases involving accidents at work, road traffic accidents, slips and trips, medical negligence, and infected blood compensation claims. The role will involve direct client contact, working with experts, managing a caseload from inception to completion, and negotiating settlements. Key Responsibilities: Managing and progressing own caseload of personal injury and clinical negligence claims, including infected blood claims. Take instructions from clients on all litigation matters on behalf of the Firm and subsequently assume responsibility for such work undertaken. Liaise with clients, third parties, and medical experts. Providing clear, timely advice to clients on liability, compensation, and other legal issues. Drafting legal documents, including claim forms, witness statements, and settlement agreements. Representing clients at hearings and mediations when necessary. Ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements. From time to time to appropriately delegate litigation work to Trainee Solicitor and other junior staff employed by the firm. To supervise such work given and generally provide sufficient experience in such matters to satisfy Traineeβs training record. Maintaining high levels of client care and satisfaction. Required Skills and Qualifications: An experienced Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Solicitor with 5 + years PQE. Strong knowledge of personal injury claims/clinical negligence, including litigation and settlement negotiations. Knowledge of relevant legislation, protocols, and case law. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive, organised, and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high standards. Excellent analytical and organisational skills. Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment.
