A leading global property company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee day to day maintenance of two Build-to-Rent sites in South East London. The Maintenance Manager will manage the Maintenance Technicians and ensure that the property is maintained to exceptional standards.
Location: South East London
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + bonus + benefits
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include:
- Complete maintenance works (internal and external aspects of the building, amenities, common areas, public areas and grounds).
- Adhere to building standards, health & safety, and statutory compliance.
- Find and recommend improved ways of working that increase productivity and efficiency.
- Supervise preparation for vacant apartments.
- Attend company maintenance training.
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
- Assist Community Manager in setting priorities and scheduling work.
- Establish work routines for staff members.
- Schedule preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a safe working environment, including educating employees on safe procedures.
The person:
- Prior experience leading a maintenance team within residential buildings, hotels or student accommodation.
- Basic technical education is essential.
- IOSH Working Safety Certificate or willing to complete course.
- Advanced knowledge of grounds area maintenance.
- Must have basic knowledge of electrical distribution system small power, lighting, fire detection systems, sprinklers, HVAC, BMS, building control requirements, fire and environmental control measures, and all aspects of H&S regulations in relation to residential building management.
