Job Description The role:
A leading property company is seeking an experienced Community Manager to join a premium Build-to-Rent development in Leeds.
The Community Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the building, manage a small on-site team and act as the primary point of contact for residents, leasing partners and guests. This is a customer-focused role combining resident experience, property operations, tenancy management and building compliance.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support a small on-site team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for resident enquiries and service requests.
  • Deliver an exceptional level of customer service and resident experience.
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with and supervising external contractors.
  • Manage tenancy progression, including move-ins, renewals and move-outs.
  • Work closely with leasing partners to monitor occupancy and support leasing activity.
  • Organise resident events and initiatives to encourage engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on required works.
  • Support statutory compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.

About you:

  • Previous on-site experience within Build-to-Rent, PRS or Student Accommodation is essential.
  • Strong property management experience, including coordinating maintenance and contractors.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A warm, personable approach with the ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Organised, proactive and confident managing the day-to-day demands of a busy residential development.
