A well-funded and design led developer is seeking a Land Buyer to take ownership of sourcing and securing new development opportunities across London and beyond. This is a commercially focused, relationship-driven role suited to a confident dealmaker with a strong network and a proven ability to source, appraise and acquire development and investment opportunities.

The Role:

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of identifying, appraising, and securing land and development opportunities across Greater London and beyond. You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of sites and progressing acquisitions from initial introduction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source on-market and off-market land, development, and investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, landowners, and key industry contacts.
  • Identify and unlock opportunities through proactive networking and market engagement.
  • Appraise sites and present commercially viable opportunities to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Lead negotiations and agree acquisition terms.
  • Manage transactions through to exchange and completion.

Experience & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in land and development acquisition within a developer, investor, or property company.
  • Strong track record of sourcing and securing development and investment opportunities.
  • Experience across the living sector is essential and familiarity with alternative sectors, e.g. commercial.
  • Well-connected within the London and UK property market.
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
  • Confident, credible, and able to build relationships at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and driven approach.
