Location: Louth (field service role across Leinster)
Our client, a leading provider of solar energy solutions in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join its growing installation team. They have built a strong reputation for high-quality workmanship and extensive expertise in the Irish solar industry. The ideal candidate will hold the relevant qualifications and demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, quality, and customer satisfaction while delivering solar PV installations to a high standard. This is a field-based role with client sites across the Leinster region.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out and manage the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems across residential and commercial sites
- Plan, organise, and manage your own workload effectively while maintaining high standards and working efficiently
- Supervise and support electrical apprentices working alongside you on installation projects
- Communicate confidently with customers and clients, providing clear explanations upon completion of installations
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times on site
- Carry out all work in accordance with company standards and industry regulations
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a qualified electrician, with experience in solar PV installation preferred
- National Craft Certificate in Electrical QCI qualification with Safe Electric registration
- SEAI Micro Solar Photovoltaic Systems course (preferred, but not essential as training will be provided)
- Full clean driving licence
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, renewable energy, and solar PV technology
- Proven ability to make sound on-site technical decisions independently
- Experience working with or supervising apprentices is highly desirable
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills
