The Role of Sous Chef
We’re looking for a Sous Chef to help lead the kitchens of an award-winning country house hotel in Hertfordshire. By ensuring the culinary standards remain high across multiple outlets, you will contribute to the excellent reputation the establishment has already built.
This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with an experienced Executive Chef, who will support your continued career development and potential onward progression.
Responsibilities
- Help lead the kitchens of an award‑winning country house hotel.
- Ensure culinary standards remain high across multiple outlets.
- Develop, train and help retain a team of chefs working between different kitchens.
- Promote company values and collaborate with the departmental leadership team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a multi‑outlet, high‑end hotel.
- Time spent in Events & Banqueting highly beneficial.
- Inspiring leadership ability.
- Sound financial awareness.
- Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
