We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sous Chef for an established, independently owned Gastro Pub in a small group of venues located in Chelsea. The venue comprises several indoor dining and event spaces and serves a quality and not overworked British menu.

The successful candidate for the Senior Sous Chef role will report directly to the Head Chef and be responsible for all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional standards and building on an excellent existing reputation and loyal customer base.

Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or a Sous Chef wanting a step up within busy fresh food pubs and restaurants is required. You will need to be passionate about working with fresh, seasonal produce and utilising ingredients from select suppliers, showcased through regularly changing menus and specials.

An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a medium-sized team of Chefs is essential. Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing, menu creation and dish specification is necessary, along with proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.

Availability to work circa 48 hours per week, a mixture of shifts.
