We have been retained by an independently owned, multifaceted hospitality venue in Central London to recruit an experienced Senior Events Sales Executive to join its growing events team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly proactive and commercially driven events sales professional to take ownership of new business development across a distinctive, premium London venue.
The
Venue: The venue combines a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant, lounge and bar, a mezzanine-level private dining area, and a beautiful dedicated events space that has become a destination in its own right.
The events business is diverse and growing, hosting everything from private dining and celebrations to corporate events, product launches, brand activations, fashion events and exclusive venue hire, alongside external catering opportunities.
The
Opportunity: Our client is looking for a genuine sales hunter – someone who enjoys generating new business, building a strong and well-qualified pipeline, and converting opportunities into revenue.
You will combine proactive outbound sales with managing incoming enquiries, developing long-term client relationships and identifying new opportunities across the London corporate, events, agency and luxury brand markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, target and win new business through outbound sales activity, networking and relationship building.
- Build and maintain a strong, well-qualified sales pipeline.
- Drive sales across corporate events, private dining, celebrations, product launches, brand activations, fashion events and external catering.
- Manage incoming event enquiries, qualifying opportunities and maximising conversion.
- Develop lasting relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, luxury brands and other key partners.
- Consult with prospective clients to understand their objectives and create tailored event solutions.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and successfully close business.
- Provide expert guidance on menus, wine and pairings, AV, entertainment, timings and room layouts.
- Ensure a seamless handover of confirmed events to the operations team.
- The Ideal Candidate
- We are looking for someone with a stable and progressive background in proactive events sales, ideally gained within premium restaurants, hotels, private members’ clubs or events-led venues.
- You will be commercially minded, confident generating your own leads and comfortable developing business from initial prospecting through to conversion.
- Most importantly, you will be a self-starter with a genuine passion for winning new business, an established understanding of the London events market and the ability to build strong, long-term client relationships.
