We’re looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to join the team at this standout London venue with an exceptional reputation. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead the venue’s sales and marketing activity — combining proactive business development with smart, creative marketing. You’ll manage a team of four, drive revenue growth, and make sure our venue stays front of mind for clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead proactive and reactive sales projects to drive revenue
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of four
  • Upsell effectively to increase average spend per client
  • Use Rendezvous event software to manage enquiries and sales pipelines
  • Organise and host client familiarisation and promotional events

Marketing & Brand

  • Own all email marketing: newsletters, news stories and blogs
  • Create tailored packages for different customer groups
  • Keep the website fresh, visually engaging and reflective of our premium offering
  • Manage all social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Yapster) with daily, reputation-driven content
  • Deliver marketing campaigns that maximise return on investment
  • Manage the marketing budget and report on performance monthly
  • Chair monthly marketing meetings, planning at least three months ahead

Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and internal teams
  • Ensure seamless communication to support smooth event delivery

About You

  • Proven management experience in venue, hospitality or events sales
  • Experience working with colleges or large venues
  • Strong sales instincts with solid marketing knowledge
  • Confident, approachable and highly organised
  • Commercially focused with an eye for opportunity
