We’re working with a really lovely restaurant in Central London, beautiful space, strong concept, and a great team already in place. They’re now looking for a Reception & Events Manager to take ownership of the front desk and all events. It’s a key role in the business and perfect for someone who enjoys being at the centre of everything.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll be looking after the whole guest journey from the first enquiry through to the moment they leave.
  • Managing reservations (calls, emails, online platforms).
  • Running the host desk and making sure service flows smoothly.
  • Looking after VIPs, regulars, and special requests.
  • Handling private dining and group bookings.
  • Putting together event proposals and coordinating the details.
  • Being there on the day to make sure everything runs properly.
  • You’ll also work closely with the managers and kitchen team to keep everything aligned.

Qualifications

  • Someone with experience in reception, reservations, or events in a busy restaurant.
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and good with people.
  • Confident on the phone and over email.
  • A natural host, warm, friendly, and switched on.
