We’re looking for a Head Baker/Pastry Chef to oversee the central bakery kitchen for an established, independently owned & multifaceted Hospitality Catering & Events company located in the Cayman Islands. This is an extremely rare and life-changing opportunity for an ambitious Head Baker/Pastry Chef to relocate to the Cayman Islands and join this dynamic, forward-thinking company, playing a key role in the future success of the business. Our client will support with accommodation for the first year in the role.
The Person
- A classically trained Head Baker with a stable and progressive background, who has gained experience within high volume bakery and patisserie establishments.
- Everything is made in house, so you need knowledge of viennoiserie, breads, patisserie and larger scale mis-en-place for events.
- A positive leader who will help motivate and mentor a team of 6 bakers and packers, whilst promoting the company values.
- Proficient training in Food Safety, Risk Assessments, Health & Safety and HACCP.
