We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to oversee the culinary operation in a unique multi‑outlet venue in West London, which will include casual dining service, higher end hospitality lunches and a variety of events. The role will be hands‑on in the kitchen as well as spending time on overall strategy, menu concepts and financial analysis. The venue is generally closed for Christmas and New Year.
Responsibilities
- Work 5 out of 7 days, covering a mixture of shifts with no late nights and including weekends.
- Lead and mentor a team of chefs, developing and retaining talent.
- Plan and coordinate a variety of standing and seated functions for differing needs.
- Prepare and present varied menu concepts.
- Assist in financial analysis including food costing, gross profit management, stock control, rotas and labour.
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Head Chef within a multi‑outlet site operation.
- Strong menu planning skills and ability to create varied menus.
- Clear financial awareness – food costing, GP, stock control, rotas and labour management.
- Proficiency in Food Safety, Risk Assessments, Health & Safety and HACCP.
- Ability to lead, develop and retain a team of chefs.
Compensation & Benefits
Up to £60,000 per annum plus overtime. An excellent benefits package will be detailed during the application process.
