About the Role
We’re working with a well‑established, food‑led gastro pub in an affluent neighbourhood, looking for a General Manager to take full ownership of the site. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be very present on the floor, leading from the front, building relationships with regulars and setting the tone for the team. The business already has a strong reputation and loyal clientèle, so it’s about maintaining high standards while continuing to grow the operation and drive performance. You’ll have full responsibility for the venue, from service and team culture through to P&L, labour and profitability with the support of an experienced senior team.
About You
You’re an experienced General Manager from a quality, food‑led pub or similar environment. You’re confident on the floor, naturally good with people and know how to create a strong team culture. You understand the numbers and how to drive performance, but you never lose sight of the guest experience. You take pride in your site, keep standards consistently high and lead in a hands‑on, approachable way.
