This is a great opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a unique venue that offers cookery lessons combined with bespoke and intimate dining experiences. You will be joining a small and dedicated team, who have previous experience within fine dining restaurants. This role is very different from working in a typical restaurant and can offer the right candidate a rewarding position with a decent work/life balance.
40-45 hours per week. Mostly Monday/Friday (mix of evenings and day shifts).
The Person
- Previous experience as Sous Chef within fresh food restaurants and a good knowledge of classical cookery.
- This role involves lots of direct interaction with the guests, so the ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who can build rapport and make people feel at ease in a new environment.
- Someone who can be trusted to oversee events independently, in the absence of the Head Chef.
