How to prepare for a job interview at Collins King & Associates Limited

Know Your Pastry Basics

Brush up on your pastry techniques and be ready to discuss your favourite recipes. The interviewers will likely want to know about your experience with seasonal British menus, so have a few examples of dishes you've created in the past that highlight your skills.

Show Off Your Organisational Skills

Since the role requires strong paperwork skills, come prepared with examples of how you've managed ordering, costings, and staff rotas in previous positions. Being able to demonstrate your organisational prowess will set you apart from other candidates.

Communicate Clearly

As communication is key in a brigade, practice articulating your thoughts clearly. Be ready to explain how you work with others in a kitchen environment, especially under pressure. This will show that you can thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Bring Your Passion for Fine Dining

Express your enthusiasm for fine dining and the culinary arts during the interview. Share your experiences working in high-end restaurants and what you love about creating refined dishes. This passion will resonate with the interviewers and show that you're a great fit for their team.
