We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for an established, independently owned Gastro Pub located in a charming Cotswold Village. The venue comprises a number of indoor and outdoor dining spaces and serves a quality British/European menu to a 2AA Rosette standard.
The successful candidate for the role will report directly to the Owners and will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operation, ensuring the exceptional standards and helping to build on an excellent existing reputation and loyal customer base.
The Person
- Previous experience as a Head Chef within busy fresh food pubs and restaurants to a 2AA Rosette+ standard.
- Passionate about working with fresh seasonal produce, utilising ingredients from select suppliers, which will be showcased through regularly changing menus and specials.
- An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a medium-sized team of Chefs.
- Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing, menu creation and dish specification.
- Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
- Availability to work circa 48 hours per week, mixture of shifts.
