We are currently recruiting for a Venue Catering Manager for an established family focused, multi-faceted activity driven venue located in South Bedfordshire. Primarily days only role with great working hours and conditions. The venue is open throughout the year, with minimal evenings, and the operation comprises casual dining, a number of retail catering outlets and a wide range of family driven events facilities.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Venue Catering Manager, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive, operationally driven background, gained managing multi-outlet, multi-faceted catering operations. This is most definitely a 'hands-on', face of the business role, and the successful candidate will report directly to the venue founders, and will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the catering department, including the management, development and weekly rota scheduling of a team of 4 full-time and approximately 12 part time staff, dependent on the season.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Venue Catering Manager to join the senior leadership team at this very popular family focused activity venue, and play a key role in the evolution and future development of their in-house catering and events operation. Our client is offering a good salary, plus a performance driven bonus and range of fringe benefits to the successful candidate.
