This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join a new opening near Liverpool Street, working closely with an experienced Executive Chef and Founder who are very passionate about sustainability, innovative flavour combinations, and fermentation.
48 hours/7 shifts per week. Working in a brand-new open-plan kitchen. Opportunity to work with a talented Executive Chef. Generous restaurant discounts. Supplier trips and interesting events. Opportunity for growth.
As Sous Chef, you'll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, overseeing fast-paced services for up to 150+ covers. You'll work with exceptional ingredients to cook quality, fresh dishes that are well thought out.
The Person
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef within high-end restaurants is needed; it's a more relaxed vibe than many fine-dining establishments.
- You will need to be a foodie and passionate about using the best produce.
- An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a close-knit team of Chefs.
- Your organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in maintaining excellence.
- Good financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing.
- Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
