Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Bakery Manager for a family owned and operated, multi-faceted visitor attraction in South Yorkshire. The Catering, Food & Beverage operation comprises several restaurants, a number of seasonal retail catering outlets, an on-site bakery, on-site butchers and a central production kitchen that produces a range of fresh 'ready meals'.
We are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Bakery Manager, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive, craft based background, in Bakery & pastry production.
This a senior appointment, and the successful candidate for the role of Bakery Manager will report directly to the venue Head of Operations, and will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running, and long term direction of in-house bakery operation at the venue, including introducing and developing new product lines, scheduling of production, leading and developing a team of 10 full time staff, and the management of all Health & Safety and Food Safety systems and procedures.
