Job Description
Due to continual growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified mechanic to join our team in Ripley to work on our ever-growing fleet of LGVβs.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs.
- Collaborate with the fleet compliance team to schedule and prioritise work.
- Working with the parts departments to make sure correct parts are ordered.
Requirements:
- Needs to be self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Experience:
- A minimum of Level 2 in motor vehicle service and maintenance technician (required).
- A proven track record in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferred but not essential).
Licence/Certification:
- Full driving licence and own tools.
Job Types:
- Full time, permanent.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays
Expected Hours:
- No less than 40 per week
