The Role

Reporting into our Pre-construction team, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, managing multiple tender submissions simultaneously while ensuring every proposal is delivered to the highest standard, on time and fully compliant with client requirements. Working closely with our Pre-construction Directors, Estimators, Project Teams and wider business, you'll develop winning strategies, create engaging submission documents and continuously improve our proposal systems and processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional organisation with strong writing skills and a genuine passion for producing winning proposals. You'll be collaborative, proactive and confident working with stakeholders across all levels of the business. You'll enjoy managing multiple priorities and be motivated by delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines. Most importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership, thinks strategically and continually looks for ways to improve how things are done.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience managing bids and proposals within the construction, engineering, architecture or built environment sector preferable.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating complex tender submissions from inception through to completion.
  • Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience facilitating bid meetings and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience using Adobe InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An interest in innovation, continuous improvement and the application of AI within proposal development.

Qualifications

Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management or a related discipline is desirable but not essential. Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
