Collins Aerospace is looking for a Skilled Vacuum Braze/Furnace Operator to join our Operations Department at the HS Marston facility in Wolverhampton.

Location: HS Marston Aerospace Limited, Wobaston Road, Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, WV10 6QJ

What You Will Do:

  • The successful candidate will operate 12 vacuum furnaces for steel and aluminium brazing.
  • A good knowledge of vacuum furnace brazing control systems and heat exchanger production would be an advantage; however, training will be given.
  • Work independently, conducting regular TPM checks, leak-up checks, and SAT check procedures.
  • Inspect post/pre-braze matrix, heat exchangers, and components.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, turnbacks, and clinics).
  • Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to quality control standards.
  • Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
  • Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

Shifts:

  • Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
  • Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).
  • Nights: 8:30 PM–6:15 AM (Monday‑Thursday).
