Collins Aerospace is looking for a Skilled Vacuum Braze/Furnace Operator to join our Operations Department at the HS Marston facility in Wolverhampton.
Location: HS Marston Aerospace Limited, Wobaston Road, Fordhouses, Wolverhampton, WV10 6QJ
What You Will Do:
- The successful candidate will operate 12 vacuum furnaces for steel and aluminium brazing.
- A good knowledge of vacuum furnace brazing control systems and heat exchanger production would be an advantage; however, training will be given.
- Work independently, conducting regular TPM checks, leak-up checks, and SAT check procedures.
- Inspect post/pre-braze matrix, heat exchangers, and components.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as ACE activities (5S, TPM, turnbacks, and clinics).
- Maintain traceability of materials and adhere to quality control standards.
- Ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Adhere to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.
Shifts:
- Morning: 6:00 AM–1:45 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 6:00 AM–12:00 PM (Friday).
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM (Monday–Thursday) and 12:15 PM–5:15 PM (Friday).
- Nights: 8:30 PM–6:15 AM (Monday‑Thursday).
